Peter Chapman is the Executive Director of the Shareholder Association for Research and Education. SHARE is a leading provider of proxy voting, shareholder engagement and policy consulting services to Canadian institutional investors and of governance and investment education to pension trustees and other investment decision-makers. He has worked for more than 25 years in the field of responsible investment, including corporate engagement, education, community investment and public policy, and joined the staff of SHARE in 2000. Peter is a member of the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets and serves on the board of Canadian development organization Pueblo Partisans. He formerly served on the boards of the Social Investment Organization, the Grindstone Co-operative Venture Fund and the West Coast Environmental Law Association, and on the Global Reporting Initiative Stakeholder Council. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University.
