Chris Kresic joined the firm in 2010 and has 27 years of experience in the investment industry. He was named Partner in 2011 and, in 2012, was named to the firm’s Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the Investment Strategy Committee. He is also Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income, and is responsible for the management of all of the firm’s bond portfolios.

Previously, he was Head of Fixed Income and Senior Vice President at Mackenzie Financial Corporation. He was also a fixed income portfolio manager and Director with Canada Trust and, prior to that, a portfolio manager with one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance companies. He began his career with the Bank of Canada in 1988.

Chris has appeared in the national media, including the Globe and Mail, National Post and BNN. He has also led investments teams that have won numerous industry performance awards for fixed income and balanced funds.
