David Leacock is a National Representative in the research and pensions and benefits department at Unifor, Canada’s largest private sector union. His duties involve providing support to bargaining units during collective bargaining and research on retirement and income security. David is also the Unifor representative on the pensions committees of the Canadian Labour Congress and the Ontario Federation of Labour. David earned an MA in Political Science at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining Unifor David was a researcher at the Wellesley Institute, a research institute dedicated to advancing public health.
