Executive Officer

Dominique Roelants is the Executive Officer of the British Columbia College, Public Service and Teachers' Pension Boards. Prior to taking on his current role, Dominique Roelants was a professor at Vancouver Island University, was First Vice President of the Federation of Post-Secondary Educators of BC and practiced law part time. Dominique has a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria. Dominique was a member of the Board of Island Savings Credit Union for six years and was chair of their Investment and Lending Committee for three of those years. He served on the Board of the College Pension Plan from 2001 through to 2014. For four of those years he served as the Chair of the Board. The College Pension Board manages approximately $4 billion for its over 23,000 members.
